Stephanie first heard the harp at age 3 and informed her parents that she wanted to learn to play. At five, she had her first lesson, and continued study throughout her school years.

She has worked with some of the most distinguished harp instructors in the world including Lou Anne Neill, Dr Carroll McLaughlin, Linda Wood Rollo ,and Susann McDonald. She has played with symphony orchestras, ballets, operas and musicals, and also taught harp at California State University, Los Angeles. She worked with award-winning engineer Gary Lux to record the first solo harp disc in SurroundSound, released by Silverline Records.

Today Stephanie balances family, a busy freelance and teaching schedule with developing her next recording, due in 2008. Stephanie describes her career this way:

"I have worked with talents as diverse as Michael Tilson-Thomas and Rita Coolidge, but my greatest joy has been to share the love of music with my students, and my greatest honor has been to play the harp at hundreds of special life events, weddings, quincineras, graduations, and memorials for all kinds of people. There is nothing more wonderful than have a listener come up, no matter what the setting, and say "your music touched me, and you really made my day."
